Paralegal Education and Training

Many paralegal degrees online also offer certificate and diploma programs through business or vocational programs, community colleges, and four-year universities. However, in all these legal tasks attorneys must supervise paralegals and assume ultimate responsibility for the paralegals’ output.

The annual income for a paralegal ranges between $27,500 and $68,000 depending on the legal firm one works for. Researched projections show that employment in trained paralegals continues to grow because law firms and government agencies tend to rely more heavily on paralegals for research instead of employing more expensive novice attorneys.
