The US intelligence report, which has not drawn conclusions about the flying objects that have been visiting our planet, opens the door to other theories and possibilities.
Last week the Pentagon declassified its long-awaited report of sightings of flying objects , UFOs or the now called unidentified aerial phenomena. While there was nothing conclusive about the origin of these inexplicable devices, the United States Navy confirmed that they existed and that they had been reported and recorded, as well as they have been debated internally. And in this regard, there is an object that continues to cause controversy: the asteroid Oumuamua. In Vandal Random we debated it at the time and we even echoed it in a special in which we analyzed the celestial body. Now, once again, astrophysicist Avi Loeblaunches his theory that relates all aerial phenomena with this mysterious asteroid that could be an extraterrestrial probe.
Oumuamua is a strange object, of uncertain origin , that was recorded by ground-based telescopes a few years ago and that traveled through our solar system in an unusual way . Due to its shape and trajectory, which described a very special orbit, with unusual acceleration, experts have advanced that it could be an alien device or ship. When the Pentagon declassified hundreds of videos and produced its report on aerial phenomena and their movements in the Earth’s atmosphere, many theories and hypotheses were contemplated, some inconclusive, on both elements. In the midst of the maelstrom and the headlines, Avi Loeb launched a new theory that linked the Oumuamua with the objects detected in 2019, trying to find a logical explanation to both. And, in short, associating them with extraterrestrial life.

Linking UFOs with the celestial body of Oumuamua
As Loeb explains in an article published in Scientific American , the celestial body Oumuamua could actually be a kind of receiver or automated mothership that passes through our solar system collecting all the data gathered by a series of probes sent and deposited by alien civilizations on Earth and all neighboring planets in our Solar System many years ago. “One can speculate that Oumuamua may have been collecting data from probes that have already been disseminated on Earth at an earlier time,” adds Loeb. “In that case, the elongated and flat shape of the Oumuamua corresponds to that of a receiver”He explains. It would be what humans do constantly on planets like Mars and other regions of our system.
Avi Loeb, professor of astrophysics at Havard, thinks that the speed and trajectory of Oumuamua are due to its flat shape, like an elongated cigar or cigar, and its possible unique technology , which would capture the energy of the Sun for the star king to propel through the system taking advantage of what would be a kind of solar sail. “According to this imaginary line of reasoning, Oumuamua could have appeared as coming from a local rest area , which would serve as a galactic parking lot.for other civilizations, so its true origin remains unknown, “adds Loeb, who continues to argue that this was the first real contact with an extraterrestrial civilization and that we have not been aware of it. At the same time, the astronomer wants to continue deepening the study of UAP or aerial phenomena detected by the Pentagon, installing more telescopes and recording devices in multiple hot spots. “I think scientists could clear up the mystery in a transparent analysis of public data. Science will one day reveal a reality that was previously only considered fiction, “he concludes.
