The European aircraft manufacturer Airbus delivered to the airline China Express the first airplane A320, which is equipped with seats manufactured by a Chinese company. As noted in the Chinese office of Airbus, this event was a new milestone for industrial cooperation between China and Airbus. The new aircraft has two cabins with four seats in business class and 168 seats in economy class. In the future, it is planned to use the aircraft for domestic traffic in China.
The seats were manufactured by the Chinese company Ali-Jiatai Aircraft Equipment. Headquartered in Xianyang City, located in the central Chinese province of Hubei. The company was listed in the Airbus buyer furnished equipment product catalog in 2017. It is also the seat supplier of the China-developed C919 large passenger aircraft.
To date, the A320 single-aisle aircraft family has received 14,700 orders and delivered more than 8,400 to customers worldwide.
The Airbus A320 family consists of short- to medium-range, narrow-body, commercial passenger twin-engine jet airliners manufactured by Airbus. The family includes the A318, A319, A320 and A321, as well as the ACJ business jet.
