Loader collided with Aeroflot’s passenger airplane Sukhoi Superjet 100 at the airport in Chelyabinsk. The passengers of the affected aircraft were rebooked for airline flights.

As a result, the fuselage of the aircraft was damaged, and therefore it was suspended from the regular flight SU 1427 on the route Chelyabinsk-Moscow, scheduled for 23:10 on September 11, 2018, and placed in the parking lot of the airport in Chelyabinsk. All the 74 passengers were rebooked for another Aeroflot flight on September 12, 2018.
The Chelyabinsk transport prosecutor’s office carries out a check of the implementation of the legislation on consumer rights protection, flight safety, labor legislation at the airport in Chelyabinsk.
The local aviation safety agency established a commission to investigate the causes of this event, to participate in the work of which specialists from PJSC Aeroflot are involved. The preliminary cause of the accident is the driver’s failure to meet the requirements for the order of the vehicle’s movement to the aircraft in the parking lot.
