Royal Air Maroc transfer all Moscow flights from Sheremetyevo airport to Domodedovo since end of March 2018. In the summer schedule of 2018, the airline will continue regular flights on the route Moscow – Casablanca (Morocco) three times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Departure from Domodedovo airport will be at 10:20 and from Casablanca will be at 00:20 (local time). The flight time is 5 hours and 50 minutes. The flights will be carried out on a modern comfortable Boeing 737-800 plane in a two-class configuration.
During the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia Royal Air Maroc planned daily flights to Moscow to give more opportunities to Moroccan and African fans to support their teams.
“Improving the quality of products and services along with the expansion of the route network are key areas for the Royal Air Maroc development strategy”, said the regional director of Royal Air Maroc in Russia, Hamza Nikel. “The change of the airport in Moscow will fully realize the opportunities for the development of the geography of flights from Russia, as well as provide convenient connections to Domodedovo for residents of the Russian regions by strengthening partnerships with local carriers. We are confident that Russians will appreciate the Royal Air Maroc products, the company’s quality of service and the developed network of flights from our hub in Casablanca”, added he.
At the end of 2016, Royal Air Maroc carried over 6,700,000 passengers. The carrier performs more than 1,500 flights per week in more than 90 destinations. Royal Air Maroc is actively involved in the development of Africa’s economy and business ties, connecting the continent with the largest international and regional centers through the hub in Casablanca, the first African transit airport, the airline said.
