The Russian S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld global aviation alliance, launches regular direct flights from Irkutsk to Guangzhou (China).
The flights from Irkutsk are operated on Tuesdays and Fridays. The flight departs from Irkutsk at 21:55 and lands in Guangzhou at 02:45. The return flight departs on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 03:45 and arrives in Irkutsk at 09:00. The flights are operated on modern comfortable Airbus A320 liners.
“We are pleased to offer S7 Airlines passengers a new flight to the third largest city in China – Guangzhou, an important destination for sightseeing and business travel. Here it will be interesting to study the history of numerous temples, pagodas, and mausoleums, take a walk in the People’s Park and get acquainted with the exquisite gastronomic finds of the region. Every year, a key production and trade event is held in Guangzhou – the Canton Fair, a key platform for dialogue with Asian partners”, said the commercial director of the S7 Group, Igor Veretennikov.
Passengers from China, in turn, now have the opportunity to travel directly to Irkutsk, Baikal – a rapidly growing popular destination among Asian travelers. They can continue their journey through Russia with the broad S7 Airlines route network.
S7 Airlines also operates direct flights to Beijing from Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk, and Irkutsk to Shanghai.
