Singapore Airlines was awarded as Best Airline by Prime Traveler magazine. The award ceremony took place in Moscow on November 22.
The Prime Traveler Awards was created in 2016 by the premium travel magazine and Prime Concept concierge service. The prize is awarded for outstanding achievements and innovations in the field of hotel business and air travel. In 2018, it was awarded in 13 different categories.
In each nomination, three winners were selected: the first according to a jury consisting of well-known Russian and foreign columnists from Prime Traveler magazine; the second was determined by the members of the Prime Concept club and, finally, the third by the editors of Prime Traveler magazine. Singapore Airlines was awarded as the best airline by the version of Prime Concept club members: professional travelers, representatives of the business, political, cultural and sports elite of Russia, owners and top managers of major companies.
As one of the recognized world leaders in the field of air transportation for over 70 years, Singapore Airlines has repeatedly been awarded numerous awards thanks to its excellent service, innovative aircraft fleet, gourmet cuisine on board. Singapore Airlines remains the only airline offering passengers flights from Moscow to Stockholm and Singapore on innovative Airbus A350 liners, as well as the opportunity to continue their journey through the countries of South-East Asia and the South Pacific on high-tech Boeing 787-10 and Airbus A380 vessels. Singapore Airlines is the first airline to receive the Boeing 787-10 with the newest unique cabin interior, providing for more free space and increased comfort. The liner serves destinations such as Osaka, Perth, Denpasar, and Bali. In October 2018, the airline made the longest non-stop flight in the world from Singapore to New York on the newest Airbus A350-900ULR airliners, which lasted 17 hours and 52 minutes, the airline noted.
