Two people died after aircraft Cessna 210L Centurion crashed near Howard Springs in Australia under unknown circumstances. The aircraft just left Darwin Airport, but shortly after takeoff lost height and crashed in rural road in the Northern Territory. There was heavy rain at the time of the crash. The accident was reported to the local authorities and at the scene were sent rescuers, but unfortunately the both occupants on board were found dead.
Wreckage from the six-seater single engine aircraft Cessna 210L Centurion was strewn across Gunn Point Road, with the plane’s wings and body found 400 m apart in bushland on either side.
The investigation for the root cause of the accident is under way.
“At this stage it’s obviously difficult circumstances for all parties involved, our thoughts are with the families of the two deceased persons”, said the Superintendent Deutrom.
